Mine is too but I have a pig pile of fungus pushing it up. I have toenail fungus...Why is my toe nail higher in one spot?
I have the same problem, but mine was because I dropped a piano on it.My nail is perminantly damaged and will always grow like that now.
If you damaged it yours is likely to do the same. If not then it could be a calcium deficiancy,if your nail is thick, hard and yellow then it's infected which is the cause of the split level effect. If it's maintained it's usual appearence color and thickness wise then it's likely just a one off thing and will grow out eventually. In this case you could carefully file it down if it bothers you.
